Reka Anna Lassu
M.S. Business Administration
Reka Anna Lassu is a researcher, teacher, and professional development coach.
She is pursuing her PhD in Management at the University of Central Florida. As a management scholar, she often collaborates with organizations on research projects, which provide insight to increase organizational effectiveness while also contributing to the advancement of management science. Reka’s areas of expertise include employee health & well-being, organizational citizenship behaviors, and high performance supervision.
Reka has taught university courses in a business school for six years, including Business Communication in the College of Business at California State University, Chico and a Strategic Management Lab as well as an Organizational Behavior course at the University of Central Florida.
Reka has a variety of industry experience as well, which she draws on when coaching clients in professional development. She has been the manager of a leadership development program, an organizing team member of TEDxChico, and the fundraising coordinator for a nonprofit. In Europe, she worked as a research assistant, an interpreter at an international engineering project, and an English teacher for a language consulting company. As a coach, she has worked with small companies to launch their brand, designing their website and communication & social media content. She has also coached individuals and small groups in business etiquette, cultural sensitivity, public speaking, and other areas.
Reka received her MS in Business Administration from Virginia Tech, MS in Communication from the University of Lugano in Switzerland, and BA in Psychology from California State University, Chico. Reka speaks English, Hungarian, and a little Italian. In her spare time, she likes playing volleyball and traveling.
