RECOMMENDED READING: Positive Organizational Scholarship

Tuesday reading! Ok, I'm hooked.

Why don't we examine the good even in negative situations? Why is getting by ok, when we could thrive? Why don't we look at what makes employees excel beyond just "good"?

I became intrigued by the concept of "flow" back in 2008 during my Bachelor studies in Psychology. I did a research study on mindfulness and athletes at my university. I thought back then that we should focus on that experience of being in the moment, striving for something great! What is it that gets some athletes into flow, into resting while in motion?

Reading this POS book reminds me of a similar concept. Let's look at thriving, excellence, and the positive even in negative situations.
